OPOKA IS A SEDIMENTARY ROCK

and is a transitional form between carbonate and siliceous rocks, formed in the Upper Cretaceous period as a result of the decalcification of primary rocks. It consists mainly of calcium carbonate and silica and also contains compounds of magnesium, iron.

Calcium (Ca) and silicon (Si) are two main minerals that are found in Opoka rock. In general these two elements have a number of benefits for the skin, including: 
- Softening and moisturizing. Calcium and silicon can help to soften and moisturize the skin by attracting water molecules. This can help to reduce dryness, itchiness, and flaking.
